How do I change / translate Slide Cart’s language?

The basic wording displayed in the cart can be easily modified through the app’s dashboard.

To do so, head to the Slide Cart dashboardLanguage & TranslationLanguage Settings section.

From here, you can edit the available fields to select or change the wording displayed in the cart. This allows you to display all cart wording in a different language (such as German or Spanish) without setting up translations, provided your store operates in a single language.

Note: If your changes are not reflected on the live store, please make sure that you don’t have a translation set for the same language.


Adding translations.

Note: Showing additional languages in Slide Cart also requires a translation app. I.e., Weglot, Shopify translate and Adapt, Langify.

If you want to translate Slide Cart into multiple languages in addition to the default wording, scroll down to the Translations section, click Add translation, and select the desired language from the pop-up window.

New fields will then appear, where you can enter the translated text that will be displayed when the cart is shown in that language.

Finally, remember to save your settings once you’re done.
